ASSASSINATION

Frayn Regnix is on the run. Caught conducting outlawed cybernetic experiments on unwilling captives, he has stolen a freighter and filled it with his personal droid army and Ventauran bodyguard. Now, a small Federation force has caught up with him, is in breachlock and preparing to board.

  • The attacker has The Federation Power armoured trooper and 4 Federation troopers. Both breaching shuttles are to be used.

  • The Defender has the Scientist as Regnix, the 5 Droids and 1 Ventauran

  • Standard ship tile arrangement

  • The attackers wins if Regnix is killed. The defender wins if all a attackers are killed

  • Regnix and his Ventauran body guard must start in the same room and that room must either be the Science Lab (Tile 4) or the Bridge (Tile 1). Subject to the rnormal rules the Droids can be anywhere.

EXTRACTION

A small Ventauran unit has captured a valuable Federation scientist and placed him in stasis in the medical bay. Just as they think they’ve escaped, the scanners flare red and a sickening alarm begins to buzz. The Federation has found them. Now they must prepare to be boarded and secure their human cargo.

  • The attacker has The Federation Power armoured trooper and 4 Federation troopers. Both breaching shuttles are to be used.

  • The Defender has both Ventauran troopers and all 5 Droids

  • The scientist is to be placed by the defender on stop of any medical bay bed and cannot be moved until revived and controlled by the Federation

  • how many breaching shuttles the attacker has

  • Standard ship tile arrangement

  • The attackers are to get the scientist and at least one unit with him on any of the shuttles. If this is done or all the defenders are killed, the Attackers win. 

  • The defenders win if the scientist is killed or all of the attackers are killed.

  • To revive and the able to move the Scientist the Attacker must have any unit in a space next to the bed and spend 2 AP to revived him.  He then moves as an attacking unit.

  • If the Scientist does not shoot his weapon he will not be shot at by the defenders, they want him back. If he is ever used to shoot, he will be able to be shot at and killed from that point.

  • Within the base rules the defenders can be placed anywhere in the ship to start.

Hard Cargo

The Federation cargo ship Eldenora drifts steadily through space on what seems like a routine run, but its cargo is anything but ordinary. Unknown to the crew, and entrusted only to the captain, one unassuming crate holds a rare Federation artefact. Tipped off by an unknown source, the Ventaurans close in, ready to breachlock.

  • The defender controls the Scientist as the Captain, The Power Armoured Federation trooper and the other 4 Federation Troopers

  • The attacker must have one Ventauran in each breaching shuttle and the 5 attack Droids split between them.

  • Standard ship tile arrangement

  • The attackers must find the correct crate and then make it back to their suttle.

  • The defenders cannot start in the Cargo bay (Tile 3) the captain has kept them out up until now. The captain and Power Armoured Trooper start on the Bridge (Tile 1)

  • To search a crate a unit must be next to it. For 1 AP the search is run by rolling a D6. On 4+ the item is found and that unit has the item and must take it to the shuttle (for 1AP at any time he can pass it to another friendly unit in the next space) If he fails its not in that crate and he must move to another. If he ends up at the last of 5 crates he finds it automatically.

  • The attackers win if they get the crate or kill all defenders.

  • The defenders win if they kill all of the atatckers.

Mechanised Assault

It has been a long haul through Mesa Vegus, a largely empty but well-charted region of space. Only halfway through the journey, the crew are bored and exhausted when something strikes the hull. Breachlock! The scanners were set for pirates, but they picked up no lifeforms ?

They ejected the hitchhiker out of the airlock three cycles ago, so why were they still being followed? The Ventaurans were gaining on the slower cargo ship, and the crew began preparing for them to launch their breaching shuttles.

Prepare for Borders

​​The Federation cruiser had been harassing them for the last hour, manoeuvring and firing precise shots meant to control, not destroy. They wanted them alive. Or perhaps not them at all, just the ship.
